Magda De Man, the Manager of Child Welfare Vanderbijlpark, emphasized that the organisation is strictly focused on its core mandate of safeguarding vulnerable youth and delivering non-discriminatory, professional social welfare services to all families, regardless of race, creed, or gender.

Rising operational costs alongside an escalation in local social challenges mean that resources are stretched thin as the organisation strives to expand its reach across the Vanderbijlpark community.
